Absolutely delicious. Please don’t ever change the quality of your food and service!! It’s definitely a small restaurant, but keep in mind it’s family owned. It’ll be worth the wait. A hidden gem indeed!
Wow! Loved this place! Tastes like homemade. Felt like I was eating in grandma’s kitchen. The place is small but it wasn’t crowded when we went around 230 pm. Got the chilaquiles rancheros w scrambled eggs & shredded chicken & it came out piping hot! Loved the beans & potatoes that came w the dish. Portion was the perfect size for me & place was affordable. Fast, friendly service & free parking out front. Would definitely return.
Delicious! Always trying to find that home cooked feel and this place did not disappoint. Our waiter was great, he was super busy, but made sure we were taken care of.
Best Chilaquiles in town. Drive from Calumet city down here every few months to get my fix. They have 10 different flavors/sauces you can get your chilaquiles in. Don’t forget to get yourself a cafe de olla too.
Got early and was able to get in right away. There is a big line outside most of the time. It's a small place but on point service. Had green chilaquiles with skirt steak. Delicious! Café de olla was great!
I normally don’t post reviews but this was an exception. The place was very small and crowed but the food was delicious. The service was great considering the girl on the register was attending tables, cleaning and working more than her share. She was great. I had the chilaquiles verdes with carne asada, it came with potatoes and beans. I been to many places where you expect a decent flavor and most of the time it’s disappointing. I have to say this was above my expectations. The food was truly hone made tasting. The cafe de olla was a bit too sweet for my taste but it had lots of flavor. Highly recommend.Can’t wait to try it again!
It's a cute quaint tiny homie place. Just know you may need to wait a bit for a table. Definitely try the cafe de ollá!

This was, by far, one of my favorite stops while in Chicago. The place is super small, so the wait can be a little long, but it's absolutely worth it! I had no problem waiting for my chilaquiles! Humble place, humble people who really put a lot of love into their food. The café de olla is definitely a MUST! It felt like I was eating at abuelita's house.
